I am so excited to teach English Language Learners this year at Richland!

This is my fourth year here, and it is my 30+ year teaching. I have a BA in English, Spanish, and Sociology from Indiana University and an MAT from University of Memphis in Curriculum and Instruction. My experiences teaching both English and Spanish at various middle and high schools have helped me develop methods to enhance students' literacy. My children, 27 and 24, attended Richland, and we have many happy memories here.  Richland truly lays a foundation for educational experiences which is unsurpassed. I am a graduate of MSCS as well. I love my dog, my birds, kids, cars, music, basketball, games, and sharks. I love to support local music and art with my spouse on the weekends! I am looking forward to a great year, and would love to hear from you anytime!
