Hi! My name is Becky Darnell. I have taught twenty-six years with Memphis City and Shelby County Schools, and this is my nineteenth year at Richland Elementary. I am so excited to be back in 3rd grade this year.  I am looking forward to working with you and getting to know your children.

I attended Harding University in Searcy, AR, and graduated in 1999 with my Bachelor's in Education. I have since completed my Master of Arts in Education through Cumberland University in July of 2006. 

I have several animals at home and have been involved with some local animal rescue groups. I also played and sang in a local band, Harmonic Revival. I enjoy reading, baking, painting, music, and spending time with my friends and family. I am excited about the new 2023-2024 school year. Teaching is my first joy, and I am looking forward to the best year ever!
