Hello! My name is Mrs. Shaneka Lopez. I am excited to be your child's teacher this year! This will be my 4th year at Richland Elementary. I have worked for the District for more than 20 years, mainly in 2nd Grade. I studied at the University of Memphis for my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees. I love teaching! Teaching allows me to learn! I want my students to try to learn something new or different every day. WHY? Because there is always something new to learn!

As your child's teacher, I intend to seek out new opportunities to improve my ability to support your child and all the children that I serve.I encourage you to openly discuss your concerns and questions about the path of your child's learning. We are a team! We need each other to help all the children learn.
