In an effort to better support our families, we are extending the period for parents to select a fall learning option. The deadline for parents to submit their choice will now be 11:59 p.m. on July 24.
In addition to allowing more time, we will be extending our call center hours (416-5300) to 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday through Friday to assist families with questions about the options or accessing their PowerSchool account. We will also continue to update our FAQs so families have as much information as possible to make an informed choice for their child.
Find more information and a video Powerschool walkthrough at scsk12.org/learningoptions.

DTE Families,
Thank you for continuing to support our school family! We understand that this is a very difficult time. We value every opportunity to share and connect with our families!
In preparation for a strong return to the 2020-2021 school year, we have created school supply lists specific to each grade. In previous years, we have had community supplies, where students have been able to share. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will not be able to follow the same practice. Children will be required to have personal supplies such as pencils, crayons, glue sticks, etc. We have also suggested that you purchase necessary sanitizing products (disinfectant spray, hand sanitizer, wipes) in an effort to keep our classroom communities safe and clean for our students. We are aware that these products are “hard to find” items and we understand if you are unable to purchase and/or locate them at this time. However, if available, we do strongly recommend that students bring these items to school.
Again, we appreciate your support and understanding during this very critical time in our nation. If I can be of further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Sincerely,
Principal Williams
