Peabody has placed the School Supply List for 21-22 on our school's website.
Lindenwood Christian Church has partnered again with Peabody for their Annual Back to School Supply Drive for parents who have a need. If you have a need, please pick up your School Supply ticket from the school starting Tuesday, July 13th- Friday, July 30th. from 9:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. The School Supply Drive is only for Peabody students. If you have multiple children, each child must present a ticket during the drive.
The School Supply Drive will be held on Saturday, July 31st from 10:00 A.M.-11:30 A.M. at Lindenwood Christian Church located at 2400 Union Ave.
School starts back on August 9th for 1st-5th grade students. Pre-K and kindergarten teachers call parents to share the staggered entry schedule for Pre-k and KK students. With staggered entry, kindergarten students will only attend school (1) day the first week of school.

We are looking for Soaring Peabody Eagles to join our kindergarten and first grade. If you are interested in joining our International Studies Optional School, please apply at http://www.scsk12.org/schoolchoice/ or call the school @ 416-4606 to join a wonderful school where we believe in ensuring students excel academically and socially. Again, Peabody only has spaces available for kindergarten and first grade students for the 21-22 school year.
Students will wear clothes to school that are comfortable and appropriate for the school environment. Shorts may be worn in hot weather, but the principal and teacher reserve the right to disapprove dress that attracts too much attention or is not appropriate. Shorts and skirts should comply with the fingertip rule. (When the arms are stretched out down the side of the body, the skirt/shorts should come down to the fingertips.) Parents will be called to bring a change of clothing when dress is considered inappropriate. Students are not allowed to wear hats/caps in the building. The administrative rules and regulations state that shoes with rollers/wheels are prohibited.
Peabody Elementary has adopted the following uniform dress code for all our students:
Tan, Navy, Black pants or shorts Tan, Navy, Black pants, shorts, skirts, or dresses
White, light blue, Peabody blue, navy White, light blue, Peabody blue, navy blue dress shirt with collar blouse with collar
Socks/tights (Solid colors- without print or design) white, light blue, Peabody blue, navy, black
Light jackets, sweat shirts, cardigans, sweaters, or vests may be worn; however, they must be white, light blue, Peabody blue, navy, black, or gray- WITHOUT PRINTS OR LOGOS. Heavy coats may not be worn during the school day. No denim material may be worn. T-shirts worn underneath a shirt should be white. Peabody club or spirit T-shirts (Purchased from PTA, After School care, or Peabody) can be worn on Friday with uniform bottoms.

Optional openings available in 1st, 2nd, and 5th grades. CLUE is also available for all grades. To qualify for CLUE, students must test two grade levels above their current grade reading level.
