  • Greetings Peabody Parents:

It is countdown- we start school August 9th!  We are so excited to have all of our kiddos back in the building. Social Distancing and hand washing/sanitizing will be followed to protect students/staff.  Students no longer will have temperature checks, but all other visitors will.

If your child will be a car-rider this upcoming school year, you must come to the school (cafeteria) for Gear Up Registration Tuesday, August 3rd to pick-up your car-rider number from 9:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. or 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M.  If you still need to register, we can assist you as well.  You will also be able to order Peabody polo shirts/jackets from the PTA.

As mentioned earlier, we will continue the Car-rider Line process for Arrival/Dismissal.  Parents will line-up on the Young Ave.side adjacent to the school and remain in cars until we come to retrieve your child- arrival and bring your child to you- dismissal. Parents will remain in cars during arrival/dismissal to ensure safety and that the Car-rider line flows.

We will only call car-rider numbers of cars parked on the correct side of the street which is Young Ave. adjacent to the school facing West.

If you would like to meet our new teachers at Peabody, please join us for a brief Meet/Greet on the school's playground Tuesday as well from 5:30 P.M.-6:00 P.M. Popsicles will be served.

We looked forward to seeing everyone Tuesday for Gear Up Day!

    Mrs. Nelson

Quarantine Meals for Students

  • Quarantined Meals

Beginning Monday, September 20, 2021, SCS Nutrition Services will provide free breakfast and lunch meals to students who are in quarantine due to a positive COVID-19 test or are deemed a close contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

The meals will be distributed through a touchless drive-thru process -- the same process used for bulk meal distribution -- at each location to prioritize safety. Parents MUST have their child's PowerSchool ID to receive the meals.

For more information on distribution and verification requirements, click HERE.
