Optional Program Requirements
-
All A’s and B’s with no more than one C on the most recent comprehensive report card as a semester average.
- Scores at or above the 70th percentile on the aReading and aMath tests of Illuminate FastBridge and/or the iReady Diagnostic Reading and Math assessments, the 2021-2022 Spring TNReady English Language Arts and Mathematics tests, or the equivalent on a current nationally normed standardized test.

Satisfactory conduct as evidenced by no N’s or U’s on the most recent comprehensive report card.

Satisfactory attendance using the standard that a total of more than 15 absences and/or tardies in one school year is considered unsatisfactory.

If your child stays in our optional program for the full three year period, by the time they leave us as 8th grade students, they will have the opportunity to complete an accelerated course load and some of their high school level coursework.
