**FEB 22-26 ASYNCHRONOUS LEARNING DAYS NOTICE **
Hello Parkway Village Parents,
Monday, February 22 through Friday, February 26 will be designated as asynchronous learning days for students. To learn more about asynchronous learning, please see the attached graphic located on our school website calendar.
We understand inclement weather has the potential to cause power outages and/or affect home internet access, and no students will be penalized for missed assignments or attendance in such instances that are beyond their control.
We encourage families to contact their child's teacher directly if they have any challenges or questions. Please review this document for additional information concerning attendance.
Thank you.

**SPECIAL RETURN SAFER NOTIFICATION**
Hello Parkway Village Parents,
As you know, Shelby County Schools will be offering an in-person learning option to our students beginning Monday, March 1, 2021. Parents previously entered a learning option choice (virtual or in-person) in PowerSchool, which stands. If, however, you wish to change your selection, please reach out to us to let us know. We only need to hear from you if you would like to change your choice; the previous choice stands otherwise.
If you wish to change your choice in Power School, please email us or call (901)416-0870 beginning Monday.
Mrs. Teleton - teletonl@scsk12.org
Ms. Gibson - gibsonsr@scsk12.org
Ms. Duenas (Spanish) - duenass@scsk12.org
Please know that the option to learn in-person or virtually remains a choice for families.
There will be a reentry meeting on Tuesday, February 23.
Please see the flyer below for more information.
**LINKS TO THESE VIRTUAL MEETINGS WILL BE POSTED SOON**

The RTI2-B Model of Demonstration (MOD) school process was constructed to acknowledge schools for exemplary implementation of Response to Instruction and Intervention for Behavior (RTI2-B). The purpose of this recognition is to highlight and promote schools successfully implementing RTI2-B so their practices can serve as models across that state. MOD sites serve a variety of roles as their work may be used as examples in local trainings and technical assistance, or they may be asked to host visitors who are looking to engage in or enhance their implementation practices.
Congratulations to our Panther family as we celebrate Parkway Village Elementary School as a 2020-2021 School of Recognition!
