Welcome to Mrs. Brister’s Class! I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher this year. First Grade will be filled with fun, LOTS of learning, and new adventures. This is my 29th year of teaching. Twenty two of those years have been in First Grade and seven of those years were in Kindergarten. I decided that I wanted to be grow up to be a teacher when I was elementary school and my desire never wavered.

I am a product of the Memphis City Schools. I graduated from Ridgeway High School. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University. Go Dawgs!
