Hi! My name is Kathryn Curtiss, and this is my 11th year in education. This will be my third year at Richland, and I am looking forward to teaching 2nd grade again! In previous years, I have taught pre-kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 5th grade math. I spent three years in administration as a Dean of Academics but quickly learned that my purpose was to be in the classroom. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy watching my students learn and grow throughout the school year.

I am married to my husband, Taylor. We have two sweet dogs, Max and Ruby. In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, going to movies, spending time with my family, playing tennis, and cheering on my Mississippi State Bulldogs!
