My name is Mrs. Avery, and I am thrilled to be an Idlewild Eagle! In addition to being a 2nd year teacher, I hold a Master's degree in Education from Relay Graduate School and a bachelors degree from the University of Memphis in Psychology. I am excited to embark on this learning journey together and cannot wait to meet my new students! In my classroom, I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where each child feels valued and respected. I believe every student has unique strengths and abilities, and I am committed to helping them reach their full potential.

Ms. Claudia Nell

Fifth Grade - 02

I am a native New Yorker who moved to Memphis in 2016. I have taught school since 1999 in three different cities: Boston, New York, and Memphis. I went to college at Tufts University in Massachusetts and received a Masters Degree in Special Education from Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York. I have taught every grade from pre-K through 8th. I love to hang out with my kids, run, garden, read, play soccer, travel, cook and eat all different types of food. This will be my first year at Idlewild and I bring with me a pet turtle named Potato.

Ms. Patricia Bone

Fifth Grade - 03

My name is Trisha Bone and I am very proud to be an Idlewild Eagle. I have a degree in English, History and Elementary Education from the University of Mississippi. I taught 18 years in Desoto County and this is my 12th year at Idlewild. Since I have been at Idlewild, I have been part of several committees, which has included Courtesy Club, Honors Club, STEM club and sponsor to the Student Council.My husband and I have been married for 33 years and we have 3 grown sons (One that works here- Mr. Duncan) and one granddaughter. In my spare time, I love to travel, take cruises, go camping in my RV and go to movies, especially Marvel.

Ms. Denise Liebhaber

Hey! My name is Mrs. Denise Liebhaber and have been a teacher with Shelby County Schools for approximately 23 years. In May of 1999, I graduated from Christian Brothers University with a Bachelor of Art in Psychology . I then graduated from CBU for the 2nd time with a master's degree in Education. I recently entered the master's Program for Library and Science Information at Trevecca University where I completed the coursework needed for an endorsement.
 
I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee where I attended Northaven Elementary and later Woodstock Elementary for Kindergarten through 8th grade, graduating high school from Frayser Academy in 1989. I meet my husband in 9th grade and together we have three adult children and three kids still at home along with three grandkids and five pets: Hazel, Harry, Ollie, Chile and Little T.
