•  Idlewild has been blessed to have a very active and contributing Parent Teacher Organization for almost a century. Beginning in 1926 the Parent Organization provided hot lunches to the students and phonographs to the classrooms. Fast forward to 2020 and the contributions from the parents are not only countless but the school would not be the treasure that it is without all of their wonderful work. Some of the more notable activities and endeavors that the P.T.O. sponsors include the Fall Carnival, organizing and ordering school supply boxes, managing the School Spirit Store, providing many meals and treats to the faculty, repainting classrooms and restrooms, facilitating the Spring Fundraising Auction as well as fundraising spirit nights at local restaurants.
