Welcome to my teacher page!

My name is Ms. Morrison and this my fifth year teaching second grade. I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. I moved to Memphis five years ago and have fallen in love with the city! Outside of school, I coach and play volleyball.

As an educator, I do believe that holding students to high academic standards is important. Students must learn to be successful in the real world. Students must also be taught how to be leaders and responsible citizens in society. I hope to achieve these goals and more in a safe, inclusive environment. 

I look forward to another amazing year in second grade.
