• Lavell Garrett

    Lavell Garrett is a graduate of the class of 2018. During his time at Craigmont, Lavell participated in various organizations, such as Phi Mu Omega, Skills USA, and FBLA. Additionally, he played chess, and was a member of the bowling, track, and cross-country teams. He broke the Craigmont record for the 1600 meter run with a time of 4m and 32s. At his last athletics banquet, he was named MVP in track, bowling, and cross-country. He was also named Athlete of the Year.

    Lavell enlisted in the United States Army National Guard in 2017 while still in high school. After completing basic training, he returned to Craigmont to graduate high school. After graduation, he then completed his AIT (Advanced individual Training) and was certified as a Petroleum Laboratory Specialist. In 2021, Lavell switched over to the United States Army Reserve to further his skill set. He became a certified Supply Specialist and is currently working on other certifications. Lavell was recently named as the general manager at Planet Fitness in Bartlett. 

    "Before I transferred to Craigmont, I had mainly attended charter schools, where students did not have access to the various activities that I found at Craigmont. I am so thankful for the experiences I had at Craigmont, especially during my senior year."

  • Morgan Morris

     

    Morgan Morris graduated in May 2016 and started her undergraduate career at the United States Military Academy at West Point (West Point) in June 2016. She graduated from West Point with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering. After graduation, she was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. She currently serves in the Field Artillery branch of the Army, where she supervises the safe, accurate, and timely firing of projectiles, rockets, and missiles. She is stationed in South Korea and will be stationed in Fort Hood, Texas upon returning to the United States. Her professional development goals include obtaining a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management, becoming certified in operating Microsoft Word and Excel, and teaching in the systems engineering department at West Point.
