Ms. Jeanetta Glass
Welcome to the 2021-2022 school Year! I am teaching Applied Mathematical Concepts; Science/Math ACT Prep; and Dual Credit Speech & Commnunication this year. This marks the beginning of my 16th year teaching at Craigmont and the beginning of my 22st year teaching.
I spend a lot of my spare time doing my favorite thing--reading books, especially African American literature! In fact, during the lockdown of spring of 2020, I read 35 books! My goal this year is to read 60 books, and I am half way there. My 12th grade English teacher, Mrs. Cora Lewis, is responsible for my love for African American literature. I call her my book pusher because she always has great recommendations! Yes, she and I still talk after more than 30 years!
I am a pround alumnus of Tennessee State University, where I obtained my bachelor's degree. I also hold a master's degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, where I lived for 8 years. I am the mother of one son who recently joined the Navy.
