I am a native of Fairfield, Alabama, and I fell in love with Memphis during my time as a two-sport student-athlete and undergraduate researcher at Rhodes College. This is my 14th year in Education – serving as an English teacher (7th-11th grade), Varsity Head Football, Track, and Baseball Coach, Instructional Coach, Director of Culture, Assistant Principal, and Vice Principal. I live in Memphis with my wife, Kelly, who is the Director of Academics at The Soulsville Charter School, my son Decklen, and my daughter Kenzie. I was recognized as a New Memphis Educator of Excellence in 2020. As a school leader, I am intensely committed to guiding students to Create Options so they can lead, compete, and win in Memphis and beyond. We will set clear goals for Craigmont High. Teaching and learning are our chief operation. All Craigmont Chiefs will be committed to intense preparation, laser focus, and unmatched work ethic. I will model the way. That is my promise.
