Craigmont High School operates a school wide Title I program.
Title 1 is a federally funded educational program. The program provides supplemental funds to school districts to assist schools with large concentrations of low income students to help meet their educational goals. Under new federal measures for accountability, each school is responsible for a portion of the school district’s AYP AMOs. Craigmont was identified as a school in need of Targeted Support and Improvement (ATSI) based on ESSA accountability criteria. Craigmont continues to strive toward meeting or exceeding state achievement and growth goals in mathematics (Algebra I, Algebra II, Unified Geometry), English language arts (English I, English II), science (Biology) and social studies (US History), as well as, graduation rate. As we strive to provide our students with a well-rounded education, we are also striving to improve at factors for attendance, discipline, early post-secondary opportunities (College and Career Technical Education, Dual Enrollment, Statewide Dual Credit, ASVAB) and ACT performance.
