Hello!  I am Mrs. Mayes, and this will be my 15th year at Lucy Elementary.  I am the Orff Music Teacher and Choir Director.  I hold a Bachelor's of Music from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and have achieved my national certification in Orff-Schulwerk from the University of Memphis, completing Levels I-III plus Master Class.  

I am a passionate music educator who loves what I do and I am involved in the music community.  This year is going to be a great year filled with music, dance, and performance.  I cannot wait to create wonderful music experiences for all my Lucy Eagles, big and small.
