Hello!
My name is Mrs. Franklin. I am grateful to serve as the Professional Learning Community Coach (PLC Coach) here at Lucy Elementary. I am a native Mississippian who relocated to Memphis in 2003 to make it my home. I began teaching in legacy Memphis City Schools in 2007 after serving as an AmeriCorps assistant teacher for several years. After gaining a lot of experience in kindergarten - 8th grade along with special populations, I have developed a passion and personal commitment to helping students succeed.
As a dedicated teacher, mentor and coach, the personalized guidance and practice I provide to teachers helps to enhance learning for all students. I love teaching and learning! I think a good education is the greatest gift one can give. Every child can succeed, and every teacher who has the heart for inspiring others can make a huge impact throughout our city. Without a doubt, if you deem yourself capable, you can do anything!
