Hello all, My name is Ms. Pollan, and I am the new Professional School Counselor at Lucy Elementary! I am so happy to be here and to be serving your little ones. Thank you for entrusting them to my care, as they are very much cared for by myself! I will advocate for all our little eagles here at Lucy, because their well-being is my priority. In my "SEL" classroom, I am teaching our students about Social and Emotional development in a classroom-wide lessons setting (Tier 1), as well as in small groups (Tier 2) and individual meetings (Tier 3). My responsibilities also include, but are not limited to determining students at-risk, gathering, and synthesizing data to define goals, as well as collaborating with fellow administrators and teachers to help every student succeed. I follow all ethical codes, and I operate under the values of Commitment, Humility, Openness, Respect, Integrity, and Self-awareness (CHORIS).
