We are thrilled to announce that our incredible Drumline has won 1st place in their division and Grand Champion at the Maplewood Battle of the Drummers over Spring Break! This outstanding achievement is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the guidance of our amazing percussion instructor.

David Porter Visits Cordova High School's Choir
David Porter spoke to Cordova High School's choir about his career as a songwriter, singer and producer for Stax Records. He served as Vice President of Stax Records beginning in 1977. Mr. Porter wrote the classic, "Hold on I'm Coming," and teamed up with Stax recording artist Isaac Hayes to write Sam and Dave's, "Soul Man". Mr. Porter shared his life experiences as a songwriter and producer, listened to a choir performance and encouraged students to continue to strive for excellence.

Congratulations, JROTC!The JROTC Academic Knowledge Bowl Team placed 3rd in the city championships.

Cordova bowling team competed in the regional finals yesterday in Savannah Tennessee. Although the team did not progress to the Sectional tournament, the team represented Cordova High School with passion and good sportsmanship. The team did bring back the district runner-up plaque which will be displayed in the school showcase. High scores were achieved by Landon Green 247, Brianna Morales 203, and Landon Brewer 199. All bowlers did a great job and had a great season. We are looking forward to doing even better next year!
