Water Pollution
Library and Visual Art
Mrs. Buie led students in 2nd and 3rd grades in a study of how our local waterways are polluted as well as the discovery of native animals/wildlife which are effected by the pollution. Students used their research while in Art Class to create a visual illustration of the polluted water ways. The students' compositions were entered into the Memphis Storm Water Art Contest where many students won awards.
