• We have a very strong English as a Second Language (ESL) program here at Berclair. There are one to two teachers per grade level to accommodate the number of English Learners (ELs) that we have. Berclair represents so many languages and cultures, including but not limited to Spanish, Arabic, and Vietnamese. In ESL, we focus on our students' English language acquisition. We prepare each ESL student to take the WIDA in March, a test that measures their English development. We are so proud of our ESL team and ESL students!
