Principal

I am a lifelong Memphian, third-generation educator, husband, and father of 4 children. As a classroom teacher, I planned and delivered excellence in instruction by focusing on making learning activities engaging and exciting while always trying to think about learning through the eyes of a child. My transition to school administration followed an extremely successful, 13-year tenure as a classroom teacher. For the past 11 years, I have served in both middle and elementary school settings as an assistant principal allowing me to see the bigger picture of where students are and where they are going. I possess a strong work ethic of never giving up and believe that improvement is a process that never ends. It is a core belief of mine that the success of students is spoken into existence through the avid support of parents and teachers. In my free time, I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my wife and children. I am passionate University of Memphis football and basketball fan. I find relaxation in fishing, lifting weights, working in the yard, and reading a good book.
