Dr. Daniel L. Jack
I have served in the field of education for almost 25 years; my experience includes serving on all 3 levels in Education (Elementary, Middle, and High School) as a building level Teacher, Assistant Principal, Vice Principal, and Principal, in addition to, service with Shelby County Schools (SCS) and District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS). My background and experience with monitoring comprehensive academic programs, monitoring AP and IB Diploma Programs as a building administrator with the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS), effective systems development and instruction, communications, effective Fiscal Management, ILT and RTI Leadership, understanding and knowledge of ESSA and School Accountability Updates, and the development of plans/systems to increase student academic growth and achievement will afford me the quality knowledge base needed to serve as a qualified, effective, and proficient Principal of our Ridgeway Middle International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) World School.
I am a lifelong learner, educator, and administrator. My drive and passion for educating, researching current effective research practices that will facilitate data driven decision-making in conjunction with participation in professional development opportunities, which included my participation in professional institutes at Harvard University, is my daily work. As a result, I discovered the theories and practices necessary for defining and measuring teacher effectiveness and determining research-based instruction for students
