Hi! My name is Shannon Kirk, and I am very excited to be at Germantown High School. I have been teaching for 15 years, and I can honestly say that I love my job. Along with being an English teacher, I love to create teacher resources using Canva or PowerPoint. I love to create English-specific resources, teacher planners, and classroom decor items. I have a beautiful little girl who started 7th grade this year. She is my hero and showed her fierceness after undergoing two open heart surgeries before the age of 6 months. Today, she is doing great and has no restrictions in her daily life. We are beyond blessed. My daughter and I love animals. We are actually fostering kittens right now, and we are becoming so attached to all of them! I love bright colors, especially the color pink. I love anything bright and sparkly. I love an ice cold Coke in the morning and opening my window to the sunshine! In my classroom, we are a family. We will learn and grow together this year! I look forward to a wonderful year!
