    • Are you interested in stepping, dancing, or performing? Join the White Station Showstoppers Step Team! They will be having clinics on October 4th and 5th from 3:00 to 5:00 and the final tryout will be October 6th from 3:00 to 4:30. Pick up an application in the main office! Come to the freshman building in athletic attire and ready to work! You must have a physical to tryout.
    • Spartans, we have some great new items in our online spirit wear store ready to order NOW through October 15. Your orders will be delivered at school the week of October 25, in time for that last home football game vs. Houston High! We have a new long sleeve T and sweatshirt design, and Spartans sweatpants too. This is the LAST online spirit wear order of 2021. Ask your teacher for the link (Order through your Athletic Booster Club website: https://www.wshsboosters.org/spirit-wear) All proceeds from ABC Spirit Wear sales support the athletics and extracurriculars that make White Station GREAT!

    • Jackson State University's financial aid officer will be on campus on October 7 from 10:40 to 12:35 in the Guidance Office. The FAFSA opens October 1. This is the application for the Hope Lottery Scholarship, Promise Scholarship, and financial aid. He will be here to work with all students and their families as a financial aid expert.

Homecoming week is a keepsake that we would all want to remember, so Class President Trinity Whitehead has asked that you meet in the courtyard right after school for pictures to be used for the yearbook, and can be forwarded to you personally.     • The Alternative Music Club will hold an interest meeting TODAY in Room F121 in the Freshman Academy.
    • Roll for initiative! Another informational meeting for the Dungeons and Dragons club will be TODAY in Mr. [NAY-DZ] Naids room, M 236. The meeting will run until 3 o'clock. We hope to see you there!

    • According to TN State Law, both private and public schools are to conduct a voter registration drive. The state has challenged every high school to register 85% of the senior class. Ms. Sugarmon's students can register you; however, you must turn 18 before the next election which is May 3, 2022. So just ask one of Sugarmon's students for a voter registration form or you can come by her class M131.

    • Seniors wanting to apply for the More-Head Cain Scholarship at UNC- Chapel Hill or Stevens Institute of Technology, please email Mrs. Heaston for further directions. If you are asking to be nominated for another scholarship at UNC-Chapel Hill, do not submit for the More-Head Cain. Deadline is TODAY
    • Are you interested in science and engineering? Would you like to compete on a nationally ranked team? TODAY, the WSHS Science Olympiad Team will have a brief interest meeting from 2:30 to 3:00 in Mr. Richardson's room, M137. Everyone is welcome.
    • If you would like to start a club, Club Applications can be picked up in Student Support Services and the Main Office. All applications MUST have a staff sponsor and MUST be turned in by TODAY at 3:00 p.m…no exceptions.
    • Boys Basketball will have an informational meeting about tryouts TODAY @ 2:15 in the senior gym. Please come in and sit upstairs in the bleachers. Any Freshman that has not brought in their physicals should do so then. This meeting does not include those playing football right now, there will be separate tryout for you all after your season is over.

    • The HBCU Awareness Foundation HOPIN Virtual College Fair, is November 14th. Hopin allows the students to go into a recruiter virtual booth to see a live presentation. Hopin will allow the student to chat with the recruiter as they are presenting in the virtual booth. The will be a great experience for the student and the parent. I have attached the update flyer.

    1) The fair will start at 9am until 1pm Everyday. The student is able login and log out at anytime.

    - E-Board Applications for the 2020-2021 school year are out! You can find the application on the White Station Website. All Applications are due SEPTEMBER 15th at 3:00 PM. Only those in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade are eligible to apply.

    If you would like to attend the E-Board interest meeting THIS FRIDAY after school, please visit the E-Board instagram to fill out a spreadsheet or send an email to whitestationeboard@gmail.com if you do not have access to instagram. You MUST fill out this spreadsheet to attend.
