  • WSHS is proud and honored to announce that we have 4 Presidential Scholar Candidates in the Class of 2023.

Congratulations to the following students for their consistent academic accomplishments:

    Shivam Aarya
    Pablo Storch
    Russell O. Wolfe
    Ray Wu

The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program was established in 1964, by the executive order of the President, to recognize and honor some of our nation’s most distinguished graduating high school seniors. In 1979, the program was extended to recognize students who demonstrate exceptional talent in the visual, creative, and performing arts. In 2015, the program was again extended to recognize students who demonstrate ability and accomplishment in career and technical education fields. Each year, up to 161 students are named as Presidential Scholars, one of the nation’s highest honors for high school students.

Dear Parents and Members of the Class of 2023,

The month of May will be here before we know it, and it is time to begin planning the exciting activities that you will participate in this year. Our goal is for each and every member of the Class of 2022 to walk across the stage in May, receive a diploma, and take part in all planned activities.  There are costs associated with graduation, and we want to go ahead and share those with you so that everyone will have time to make plans accordingly.

This year’s senior fees are $130.00. Senior fees cover costs associated with senior activities, including cap/gown, graduation costs, and the senior award program.

Once senior fees have been paid and receipted, a refund will not be issued for missed activities or unwanted materials.

**Please note that tickets to the prom (May 6th) and  “Graduation Night Senior Lock-In” are not included in this fee.  The “Graduation Night Lock-IN is handled through PIE.

Senior Fees payments will be taken online at www.jostens.com ( go to my school store…type in White Station High School…click on graduation) Package 1 is the package you should select.  Payments online will be taken from October 17th to January 31st.

If you do not have a debit/credit card and would like to pay your fees with cash or check then the only days to pay for your cap and gown in house will be  Nov. 10th and Feb. 16th during all lunches. Payments on this day must be cash/check only.

Remember…You can make online payments for your senior fees from October 17th through Jan. 31st.  .

All senior fees must be paid by February 16th…in order to ensure a cap/gown/stole/ are available.
