SUMMER SCHOOL 2021
The following two steps MUST be completed to qualify/register students for the Promotional Summer School Program:
Step 1 - Pre-Qualification (School Counselors)
All SCS students MUST be Pre-Qualified by their SCS Counselor prior to parents registering students for the Summer School program. To register your student for summer school, please contact your child’s counselor for pre-qualification.

Parents will then be eligible to register during the registration dates. Students that are NOT Pre-Qualified by the School Counselor will NOT qualify to register this summer. Summer School website www.scssummerschool.com
Pre-qualification DOES NOT mean your child is registered for summer school…STEP 2 of Registration must be completed.
Deadline for Counselors to pre-qualify students is Wednesday, June 16.
Step 2 – Registration (PARENTS)
Students that have been Pre-Qualified by their SCS Counselors, and plan to attend summer school, MUST register Online. Registration links will be available during the registration dates listed below. If we reach capacity for students In Person and Online, then students will be placed on a waitlist.
Registration Dates Parents MUST register ONLINE (www.scssummerschool.com) on the following dates:
District Managed SCS Students Online Registration Dates – June 19 – 24, 2021
Online Registration deadline is June 24, 2021, 12:00 Noon
Computers and internet access are required for the program (In Person and Online).
SCS students will be allowed to keep their school year computers for the summer School Program. The district is asking that students pre-registered for the 2021-22 school year to keep their devices.
The following are required to attend the 2021 Summer School Program:
- SCS students enrolled in the 2020-2021 School year.
- SCS students active in PowerSchool.
- SCS Students have a final 2020-2021 SCS Report Card.

If your child rides the bus you can go to the link below to look up your child's bus stop. Bus cards will be issued a few days into the first week of school but your child can board the bus IF you have selected in-person learning and your child is eligible for bus transportation per the website link below.
Our PIE fundraising team works diligently to raise money for WSHS. PIE sells spirit gear, sponsors activities and events, sponsors donation drives, and applies for grants, to buy technology, educational materials, and other resources the school needs.
Attention Current and Incoming 9th Grade Students-
Our 9th grade Professional School Counselor, Ms. ReJena Whiting, has created a Remind in order to stay in contact with current and future 9th grade students.
