Mrs. Courtney Jolly
Dear Stinger Family,
My name is Courtney Jolly and I will serve the 2019- 20 school year as your Instructional Facilitator. I have been a Special Education Teacher for 19 years. My first 3 years of teaching were spent at Martin Primary in Martin, TN and for the last 16 years I have proudly occupied Room 38 where I have proudly served the families and community of Northaven Elementary. The things that I am most proud of in life are that I am fortunate enough to be a wife, mother, and an educator.
Over the years, I have become very aware of the impact that teachers have on students and how important my role is as an educator, and as an educator my primary goal is always student growth and achievement. I am fortunate that in this new position that I will have the opportunity to support teachers with their instructional practices and impact student learning through carefully observing the trends in student data. My responsibilities as the instructional facilitator include, but are not limited to performing as an instructional specialist within the school to increase effectiveness of on-site instructional programs, to improve utilization of instructional materials, to promote development, implementation and coordination of the school's instructional goals. I will be able to accomplish this task by regularly collaborating with the faculty and staff, students, parents, and other stakeholders of our great school.
I am really excited about this opportunity and I look forward to what the year holds! I am truly fortunate to continue to serve the students, parents, teachers, and community of Northaven. I realize that this is a great work, but I also realize it is a possible work. Therefore, as we embark on this new academic school year, please know that I am available and here to support and serve you in any way that I possibly can.
