Greetings and Welcome to Mitchell High School!

All High School experiences should be a unique adventure where students are employed to achieve and receive the best education possible through a rigourous curriculum, new technologies, and advancements in teaching that are essential to the well being of our students.  We need to tap into the knowledge and the higher order thinking skills of our students in order for them to reach their potentioal.  It is imperative that we afford our students with the opportunity to connect to real life experiences and practices that will prepare them for the 21st century.

It is critical that we start each year with renewed enthusiasm and new skills to advance to a differentiated instructional model.  Our goal is to model and transform our students into intellectual individuals who are capable fo making quantum leaps into a diverse society.  

Therefore, my must focus on high quality instruction and not excessive discipline.  We must increase the rigor and pace and consistently use instructional strategies and practices to increase student achievement.  We should expect to promote educational experiences that meet the academic needs of our students, parentes, and community; while learning in a safe and challenging atmosphere, where our students will read with comprehension, write clearly, compute accurately, think, reason, and use technological means to solve problems.

If we employ these measures, we will become the BEST high school in America!  Where CHAMPIONS are MADE!
