    Tiger Nation!

The Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) requires all state public schools to administer the TCAP and EOC tests in person. These standardized assessments, used to evaluate a student’s mastery of their grade’s content, will be administered to students from April 14-May 6.

Below are a few tips to help your student prepare at home and during the test.

    Before the Test

    • Practice good study habits! Review your notes daily, make a study guide, etc.
    • Gather everything you need for the test and have it ready to go so you don’t have to rush the morning of the test.
    • Get a good night’s sleep, and arrive early for the test so that you feel comfortable and settled.

    During the Test

    • Read/listen to all of the instructions carefully.
    • If you’re provided with scratch paper, use it! You may need to write down all of your formulas, facts, etc. before the test begins.
    • Make sure you answer all of the questions, and check your work!
