• We offer simple online registration and in-person registration at your students zoned school if you cannot register online.
• Applying for Pre-K? Pre-K follows a different process.

Kindergarten Students

Incoming Kindergartners

• All rising kindergarten students must register as a new student, even if they attended an MSCS Pre-K last year. Families can register online or in person at your students zoned school.
• Follow the steps in the NEW STUDENTS section below to begin the registration process.

• NEW STUDENTS

  Step 1: Submit all requested/required documents to the zoned/approved transfer school.

  Step 2: A member of the registration/enrollment team will email you your PowerSchool account information.

  Step 3: Complete online registration.

1st -5th Grade Students

EXISTING STUDENTS

Complete online registration in PowerSchool. Registration will need to be completed using a web browser as this functionality is unavailable in the app. The app version of PowerSchool cannot be used to register, apply for transfers, select learning options, or update information. For assistance, contact 901-416-6007 or your school.

NEW STUDENTS

Step 1: Submit all requested/required documents to the zoned/approved transfer school.

Step 2: A member of the registration/enrollment team will email you your PowerSchool account information.

Step 3: Complete online registration.

REGISTRATION CHECKLIST

• Two (2) approved proofs of residence
• Required immunizations
• Photo ID of parent/guardian
• Active PowerSchool account if student is new to MSCS
