  • Leadership Opportunities

The Guild promotes student leadership through its Knight program.

The Knights are the student leaders of the Guild and are awarded various opportunities to lead new members.

The Knights are in charge of meeting organization, setting meeting times, recognizing upcoming leaders (squires), promoting the Guild on campus, media liaisons, and anything that benefits the Guild.

  • Requirements for Membership:

The guild requires its members to communicate with guild leaders one week prior to meetings.  A knight will be appointed to lead a group of squires who will handle any announcements through GHSTV.

The Guild is introducing a new leader this year who will be taking over the D&D sessions. Please welcome Mr. Boscaccy in his official role of D&D Dreadlord! The D&D sessions will require you to bring your D20 and any snacks or beverages you need.  The D&D sessions last two hours and will be after school in the reference side of the library on a rotating schedule. Please be prompt, otherwise, you will not be able to attend. The doors to M close at 2:30 and if you are late, you will be excluded from that session. Please have a ride or way home after the session.

    Magic the Gathering

Magic the Gathering is being entered into our guild lineup this year!  This game holds a special place in my (Guildmaster Smits) heart as I have been playing it since the early '90s. The kids will be involved in competitive play, learning how to synergize strategies, and have the chance to play against players of different skill levels.  The Guild has cards that were donated, and the kids can bring their own decks to play.
Note: The students will be required to keep guild cards and decks at school and if they bring their own, will be required to keep them in sleeves.

This year we will start the Magic the Gathering EDH sessions. Guildmaster Smits will teach you all the finer details of EDH or, as it is commonly referred to, Commander. If you have experience in this format, please see Guildmaster Smits in room M101.

Guild leaders will need at least one week to prepare for any session and may have to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances.

Guild dues cover special events, hardware, and new adventures.

Guild dues: $30-these dues cover a mini figurine designed by you or pre-designed through Hero Forge.
