Asst. Principal Jones comes to Melrose High School with over 20 years of experience in education. He is a native of Jackson, Tennessee, and a graduate of Jackson Central Merry High School. Upon graduation, he attended The University of Memphis and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Music Education. Also, attended Christian Brothers University, and graduated with a Master of Science in Educational Leadership. Mr. Jones is an active member of the New Shelby Baptist Church in Collierville, Tennessee, where he is the leader of the Men's Ministry, sound engineer, and Sunday School Teacher. Lastly, Mr. Jones is a freelance musician who has performed with several Hall of Fame and Grammy Award winning artists.
