Melrose High- "The Home of the Golden Wildcats" sits in the heart of the 38114 community - a community rich in history and tradition, a place where academics and athletics collide. Melrose High School, a public high school located in Memphis, TN, is in the heart of Orange Mound. It serves a student population of 800 students in grades 9-12.
For many decades, Melrose has fervently educated the children of Orange Mound, producing well-rounded citizens like notable alumni Larry Finch, Chris Jones, Rochelle Stevens and many more. Melrose's steadfastness to teaching and learning coupled with athletics has yielded extraordinary minds who have gone on and will go on to make many achievements in their personal and professional lives as well as their local, national, and global communities.
