University of Memphis Partnership
The University of Memphis high school based dual enrollment program offers general education and Allied Health courses at Central High. Courses are taught in both traditional and online environments.
Admission requirements for the special high school-based program are as follows:
19 composite score on the ACT (18 English sub-score for students taking English Composition and Allied Health and 19 math sub-score for students taking college math)
2.7 Unweighted GPA
**Fall 2020 DE testing requirements are being waived. Student are required to meet the 3.0 TN Lottery Scholarship GPA
University of Memphis Courses Offered
English Comp I, English Comp II, Online College Algebra, Online Statistics, Anatomy and Physiology, Exercise Therapy, Online Dietetics and Nutrition

Steps to Enroll
I. Check you GPA tp make sure you have a TN Lottery Scholarship GPA of a 3.0 or higher
II. Speak to your counselor
III. Apply to University of Memphis Dual Enrollment HERE
IV.Once you submit your application, make sure you receive a confirmation email.
V. Complete the dual enrollment grant in your TSAC portal. Be sure to choose University of Memphis as your school choice. Memphis will not enroll students until the grant is complete. *Students taking two courses at different schools should see Mr. Allred for a Consortium Agreement.
