LATEST ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Greetings New & Seasoned Pharaohs!

We are soooo excited to WELCOME you to Raleigh-Egypt High School for the 2024-2025 School Year!

We hope everyone is having a great and safe summer. This is Dr. Jamie Green and I am THRILLED to serve as the Principal of Raleigh-Egypt High School! I want to reiterate that school will start at 7:15 a.m. and end at 2:15 p.m. We will not wear uniforms; however, there will be a STRICT dress code. Students can NOT wear holes in their jeans above the knees unless tights or shorts are worn underneath. Hoodies may NOT be worn on your head while in the building. Halter tops and tank tops are NOT permitted. Tights or leggings are also NOT permitted. Short skirts are NOT permitted. Shirts with gang affiliation, lewd or vulgar writing or pictures, and drug or alcohol references are NOT allowed. Also, crocs must be worn in sports mode to prevent any safety issues. There will be NO slides.

Also, please purchase CLEAR or MESH backpacks for your children as safety is still the number one goal of REHS. The general supply list is to have at least two mechanical pencils, at least two blue or black ink pens, and one 7-subject notebook. Your child's teachers may require more supplies and you will get more information from the teachers during registration on July 30th or the first day of school on August 5th.

Finally, please ensure that your child is registered for the year. Call 901-416-4108 if you have registration questions or concerns. If your child is not registered, then he or she will not have a schedule when school starts. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

We look forward to seeing your children on Monday, August 5th.

  • Hello Raleigh-Egypt High School Student Drivers,

In order to continue to keep our school as safe as possible, Raleigh-Egypt High School will enforce district and school parking rules. Therefore, all students who drive to school will now be required to park in the student parking lot located behind the gated fence. Students who drive to school will be required to have a signed permission slip, a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a school issued, numbered parking decal on file in the school’s office. The parking decal must be placed on the top driver side of the windshield of the car or hang on the inside mirror. Drivers who violate the parking policies run the risk of losing their parking privileges and/or having their vehicle towed at the owner’s expense. If you lose your decal, the replacement is $5.00.
