It brings me great pleasure to be the principal of Fox Meadows Elementary. I have 23 years of experience as an educator in Memphis City and Memphis Shelby County Schools. I lead with a passion for children, and am an advocate for teachers and parents. 

I served as principal of Charjean Elementary for 8 years. Two of my greatest accomplishments were watching students become excited about learning and gaining Tennessee Reward School status. Prior to becoming principal, I served the district in different capacities, from teacher to academic coordinator.

I received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Alabama State University (Montgomery, Al). I obtained a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction and an Education Specialist Certificate in Educational Leadership from Union University (Germantown, TN). 

As principal, I am committed to ensuring that all students learn to their maximum potential and to fostering innovation through collaboration with teachers, staff, students and families. I am familiar with the practices of successful schools and am excited to lead at Fox Meadows Elementary. 

My experience and passion for the job make me the best fit for Fox Meadows Elementary School. I look forward to working with all stakeholders to create a positive learning experience for Fox Meadows students.
