The Dual Enrollment program allows Central High juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn college and high school credit simultaneously. Through the Tennessee Dual Enrollment grant, all Central students are eligible for at least two early college courses. Central is fortunate to have partnerships with four colleges: Baptist College of Health Sciences, Bethel University, Southwest Community College, and University of Memphis.

University of Memphis Partnership
The University of Memphis high school-based dual enrollment program offers general education and Allied Health courses at Central High. Courses are taught in both traditional and online environments.
Admission requirements for the special high school-based program are as follows:
19 composite score on the ACT
18 English sub-score for students taking English Composition and Allied Health
19 math sub-score for students taking college math
University of Memphis Courses Offered
English Comp I, English Comp II, College Algebra, Elementary Statistics, Anatomy and Physiology, Exercise Science, Dietetics and Nutrition

Bethel University Partnership
Bethel's unique partnership with Central High allows qualified juniors and seniors to earn college credit while fulfilling their high school graduation requirements. Each dual enrollment course is taken online and taught by specially-trained high school teachers or college faculty.
High School Student Eligibility Requirements:
- Complete all of the academic requirements of the tenth grade and be classified as a junior or senior.
- Attain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale) or 21 on the ACT.
- Obtain written permission from your high school principal, guidance counselor, or home educator.

Southwest Tennessee Community College Partnership
The Southwest Tennessee Community College high school based dual enrollment program offers general education and career cluster courses at Central High. Courses are taught in both traditional and online environments.
Admission requirements for the special high school-based program are specific to the courses available. General Education courses require a 19 ACT sub-score.
