Ms. Parker, CLUE 6-8
What is CLUE? CLUE (Creative Learning in a Unique Environment) is an education program for academically gifted students. CLUE curriculum for grades 6-8 incorporates both group and individual strategies focusing on creative thinking, critical thinking, communication, leadership, group dynamics, and problem solving. This course will include the above strategies to develop higher level thinking skills while allowing time for in-depth inquiry focusing on literary and informational text analysis, written expression, research skills, grammar, and vocabulary development.
You may check your child’s progress online using PowerSchool. In addition, you will find announcements, general weekly plans, assignments, homework, and project information on this website. All CLUE students will have an IEP meeting this year as scheduled by the IEP team. Correct emails and phone numbers in PowerSchool are essential for prompt communication. Let's have a great year!
