Hello, I am Ms. K. Jones, one of your child's Science teacher. I have been teaching for 23 years and this is my seventh year here at Highland Oaks Middle. It is my intention to make sure your student has an AWESOME experience in 8th Grade Science. The "Highland Oaks Way" is something that I believe in and will do my part to add to your Scholar's success. I feel that it is important that we foster a relationship that supports your student, so I will be communicating with you often here, by email (joneskd@scsk12.org). This is to ensure that we are partners in your Scholar's daily success. I realize each Scholar is unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. It is my desire to create this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential. I will provide a safe environment where students are invited to share their ideas and take risks.
