In May 2013, Oak Forest became an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. As an IB World School, we strive to develop internationally-minded students who will develop genuine concern for world issues. We encourage our students to investigate and take action to resolve real world problems.

To ensure students are taught Tennessee academic standards, all Oak Forest teachers follow the content and pacing of the district curriculum maps. In addition to core academic subjects, Oak Forest’s educational offerings include Orff music, art, physical education, library, and Mandarin Chinese language instruction. 

To enhance our curriculum and connect learning to the real world, Oak Forest parents and members of the community are offered opportunities to share their knowledge with our student population. These learning experiences include single and multi-class presentations.
