Mrs. Sherry McKinney

I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Mt. Pisgah Middle School. My passion for education began several years ago through my work with Stewpot Community Services, a non-profit organization. I earned my Bachelor's, Master's, and Specialist degrees from Mississippi College and have accumulated over 20 years of experience in various educational roles.

My leadership is grounded in the principles of servant leadership. I am committed to working diligently with all staff members, listening, motivating, and setting high expectations for both students and staff. My approach is heavily influenced by the loving and nurturing upbringing from my grandmother, which drives me to always prioritize what is best for students.

I am married to a supportive husband, and we have a son who is the heartbeat of my life. I look forward to serving the Mt. Pisgah Middle School community this school year!
