AUTOMOTIVE MAINTENANCE & LIGHT REPAIR
Trezevant Career and Technology Center offers the AUTOMOTIVE MAINTENANCE AND LIGHT REPAIR program of study from the Transportation career cluster set by the TN Department of Education. This program prepares students for careers involving automotive repair, which requires students to have a strong mechanical ability. .
Upon successful completion of the Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair program of study, students will have acquired the skills and knowledge needed to pursue an automotive career. This program offers dual enrollment credits with Tenessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT). Students will also have opportunities to receive the following industry certifications before graduation:
- OSHA 10 (General Industry)
- Precision Measurement Instruments Certification
- Automotive Service Excellence Student Certification: Maintenance & Light Repair

BANKING & FINANCE
The BANKING & FINANCE program of study offered at Trezevant Career & Technology Center falls under the Finance career cluster set by the TN Department of Education. The Banking & Finance program prepares students for careers in financial and investment planning, banking, insurance, and business financial management with real-world banking and financial situations through a partnership with a local financial institution.
This program offers dual enrollment credits with Southwest Tennessee Community College (SWTCC). Upon successful completion of the required courses in this program of study, students also have opportunities to receive the following industry certifications:

BARBERING
Barbering focuses on the skills and knowledge needed for students interested in careers within the barbering industry. This program provides students with the technical skills related to safety, principles of hair, nail structure, and scalp care, as well as the fundamental skills of barbering theory.
The BARBERING program of study offered at Trezevant Career & Technology Center is part of the Human Services career cluster set by the TN Department of Education. Students can earn the 1500 hours required for industry licensure; and upon successful completion of the hourly requirements, they have opportunity to sit for the Tennessee Barber State Board examination.
In addition, students will also have an opportunity to receive the following industry certification before graduation:
- OSHA 10 (General Industry)

CODING
Trezevant Career & Technology Center offers the CODING program of study from the Information Technology career cluster set by the TN Department of Education.
Coding is a program of study intended to teach students the basics of computer programming; develop advanced skills in problem analysis, construction of algorithms, and computer implementation of algorithms as they work on programming projects of increased complexity; and teach students the basic concepts and skills of mobile app design.
This program offers dual enrollment credits with Tennessee State University (TSU). Upon successful completion of the required courses in this program of study, students have an opportunity to receive the following industry certification:
- CompTIA IT Fundamentals

COSMETOLOGY
Cosmetology is designed to prepare students for careers in cosmetology by developing an understanding of efficient and safe work practices, salon business concepts and operations, hair techniques and chemical services, as well as facial and skin care procedures.
The COSMETOLOGY program of study offered at Trezevant Career & Technology Center is part of the Human Services career cluster set by the TN Department of Education. Students can earn the 1500 hours required for industry licensure; and upon successful completion of the hourly requirements, they have opportunity to sit for the Tennessee Cosmetology State Board examination.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & CORRECTIONS SERVICES
Trezevant Career and Technology Center offers the CRIMINAL JUSTICE AND CORRECTION SERVICES program of study from the Law, Public Safety, Corrections & Security career cluster set by the TN Department of Education. This program prepares students for a range of careers in law enforcement, crime scene analysis, forensic science, public safety, and criminal justice. Students will focus on procedures and laws governing the application of justice in the United States, from constitutional rights to crisis scenario management and the elements of criminal investigations.
This program offers dual enrollment credits with Southwest Tennessee Community College (SWTCC). Upon successful completion of the Criminal Justice and Correction Services program of study, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skill preparation for postsecondary or career opportunities in many law- and justice-related fields.

CULINARY ARTS
Trezevant Career & Technology Center offers the CULINARY ARTS program of study from the Hospitality & Tourism career cluster, which is set by the TN Department of Education. The Culinary Arts program prepares students for careers in the food services industry. The students learn skills necessary for careers beginning with entry-level quick service positions, but later learn skills and knowledge that prepares them for advanced-level careers in the food and beverage industry, such as catering, event planning, and as chefs at high-end restaurants.
Upon completion of this program of study, students will be proficient in components of commercial kitchen safety and sanitation, dining room service, food preparation and presentation, bakeshop preparation skills and equipment, and advanced cooking principles.
Students will also have opportunities to receive the following industry certifications before graduation:
- OSHA 10 (General Industry)
- ServSafe Food Manager

FIRE MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Trezevant Career and Technology Center offers the FIRE MANAGEMENT SERVICES program of study from the Law, Public Safety, Corrections & Security career cluster set by the TN Department of Education. This program is designed for students interested in becoming a firefighter or fire management professional. These courses provide comprehensive preparation in firefighter safety, fire behavior, building construction guidelines, use of firefighter equipment, safety with hazardous materials, and more.
Upon successful completion of the Fire Management Services program of study, students will have acquired the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a career as a Firefighter I, and will be prepared, after graduation, to complete the designated curriculum pathway at Southwest Tennessee Community College (SWTCC), and then further their instruction at a fire training facility. Students will also have opportunities to receive the following industry certifications before graduation:
- Heartsaver First Aid with CPR/AED
- OSHA 10 (General Industry)
- BLS (CPR for Healthcare Providers)

THERAPEUTIC SERVICES
Students who enroll in the Health Science program usually have an interest in working in healthcare. Health Science is one of the largest industries in the country, with more than 11 million jobs, including the self-employed. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects employment of healthcare occupations to grow 14 percent from 2018 to 2028, much faster than the average for all occupations, adding about 1.9 million new jobs.
The Health Science program at Trezevant Career & Technology Center offers the THERAPEUTIC SERVICES program of study from the Health Science career cluster set by the TN Department of Education. This program offers dual enrollment credits with Southwest Tennessee Community College (SWTCC). In addition, upon successful completion of the required courses in this program of study, students have opportunities to receive the following industry certifications:
- Heartsaver First Aid with CPR/AED
- OSHA 10
- BLS (CPR for Healthcare Providers)
- Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC)
- Pharmacy Technician
