Announcing Antonio Harvey as Principal of Hawkins Mill Elementary School
Antonio Harvey, a veteran educator and passionate advocate for equity, is now beginning his leadership as Principal of Hawkins Mill Elementary School. With over 20 years of experience in Memphis-Shelby County Schools, Mr. Harvey is recognized for transforming school communities, empowering families, and establishing systems of support that cater to the needs of the whole child.
He most recently served as Dean of Students at Vollentine Elementary School. A graduate of the New Leaders New Schools program, Mr. Harvey is recognized for his work in school turnaround, instructional alignment, and equity-centered leadership.
Mr. Harvey holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and has completed extensive leadership training focused on school improvement and community engagement. As he steps into this new chapter at Hawkins Mill Elementary, he remains focused on building a strong academic culture, connecting with families, and ensuring that every student is known, supported, and prepared to succeed.
