We look forward to working with you and your child to make this a rewarding year

*Communicate with your child's teacher about their academic progress, behavior, and achievements.
*Serve on the student support organization or other advisory committees that influence decision-making at Ross Elementary School.
*Attend workshops, parent trainings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school activities, offering constructive feedback and suggestions.
*Monitor homework and limit the amount of time spent watching TV, using social media, and playing video games.
*Look for the daily communication folder, the planner, and the Wednesday graded papers folder.
Parent Involvement: Studies have shown that children are more successful when parents are involved in their education. You can help your child succeed by volunteering, helping with homework, reading to them, and talking with their teacher. Ways to Support Your Child:
*Volunteer
*Ask your child's teacher what you can do to help. Stay up to date on how your child is doing.
*Share your experience, talents, and knowledge with the learning coach or principal.
*Ask your employer to donate school supplies (small toys, pencils, etc.) to the school's Road Runner store. *If you would like a plan to help your child at home, ask their teacher.
