Art Interest Area
-
Students learn and develop through creativity and personal expression. The Art interest area provides students with opportunities to practice their self-expression, fine motor skills, and sense of exploration. The Art interest area should be accessible to students during free choice time and be arranged in a way that allows students to independently access and use a variety of materials. Remember, when adding new materials to any area, it is important to introduce and model them first. This allows students to gain an understanding of expectations for proper use.
