Confirmed by developmental and educational research, preschool children learn best through play.  To help support all domains of learning, it is critical that teachers intentionally design learning environments that allow children to engage in meaningful play.  In the Blocks interest area, children can practice and apply emerging skills by expressing their creativity.  Students can develop their problem solving, mathematical, and experimental skills all while collaborating with peers.
