Our Student Champions for the 2nd 20 day period were celebrated for achieving 96% or higher on their attendance goals while also learning about recruitment options for post secondary opportunities.

 

What are Student Champions?

Mitchell High and MSCS are committed to supporting student attendance. Join us as we support the initiative C.O.M.E to Win: Count on me Every Day!

 

We want your student to “Show Up and Shine” because every day counts. If your child misses even 10 minutes a day, it may add up to nearly 1.5 weeks of instructional time a year. By the time they have reached their senior year, they may have missed half a year of vital instructional time.

 

Every 20 days, MSCS will release attendance data. Champions are students who attend 96% or higher. Winners attend 91-95% of the days. Participants attend 90% or less. Please note that attending less than 90% will categorize your student as Chronically Absent.

At Mitchell High, we believe that all of our students are Champions. We want every student here every day!
