GATHER YOUR DOCUMENTS

RISING 9TH GRADERS

  • A copy of most recent 2019-2020 report card.

  • A copy of school discipline's record.

  • Optional: ACT Scores (if applicable). Students who score a 19 or higher on the ACT will be eligible to take Dual Enrollment Courses.

  • A 1-2 page essay that answers the following question: “How will the Early College program help you fulfill your dreams?”​

RISING 10TH-12TH GRADERS

  • A copy of most current recent report card.

  • A copy of most recent transcript (1st Semester of 2019-2020 school year).

  • A copy of school discipline's record.

  • A copy of most recent ACT test scores for 11th-12th Graders.

  • Optional: ACT Scores (if applicable). Students who score a 19 or higher on the ACT will be eligible to take Dual Enrollment Courses.

  • A 1-2 page essay that answers the following question: “How will the Early College program help you fulfill your dreams?”​

REMEMBER

Students/Parents are responsible for sending the Recommendation Form link to your Principal/Administrator or Counselor.

Click the button below to fill out the Shelby County Schools General Choice Transfer Application & follow these steps:

  1. Click Apply for General Choice
  2. Select "My child is NOT zoned for or on an approved transfer to the school I am requesting"
  3. Complete the Application
  4. Choose Middle College High School as your choice school
  5. Upload required documents within the General Choice Application

Your application will not be processed and you will not be eligible for an interview until all required documents are uploaded.

After your application has been processed and reviewed, you will be invited to participate in an interview.
